Last Saturday at The Moher Pub the band put on one of its finest performances. The mix of songs worked well. The sets of music were tight. The pace was fast. This kept the energy up and the audience attentive. Every one in the band played and sang well. The harmonies were excellent. One comment was that the instruments were well balanced and clear and that the sound was not loud and over bearing. The fans were great. Every one had a good time. The band will play The Moher Pub Saturday May 30th at10:00PM.
This was a great event. The people filled the streets and O’Brien’s was packed. We were on the big stage with an exceptional sound system and vidio feed through out the establishment. The sound engineer did a good job. Best of all the crowd got involve with the music. We performed about 45 pieces in three hours with one break. Next friday it’s off to the Irish American Heritage Center. Check our performance dates for more.

Patrons complimented The Celtic Groundhogs on an energetic performance Saturday April 26, 2008 at the Moher Pub, Edgebrook, Chicago.
It is the variety of traditional pieces they play that makes them fun.
They are not just a two or three person group. Seven members provide a full compliment of instruments including two vocalists to give the Celtic Groundhogs Irish Impact.
All the members sing both back up and have solo numbers. In additon many of their musical selections call for audience participation.
The Celtic Groundhogs are entertaining.
If you come to a Celtic Groundhog performance you will surely enjoy it.
